Contact the head office of any employer in whom you have an interest and inquire if they have vacancies in that location. If you can produce the name of a company, then any directory inquiries line (eg, BT 118500) will assist you in contacting their head office or regional one. You could also try putting company names into your search bar. For hotel work - and Brighton has numerous hotels all along the seafront - just make a trip to Brighton and inquire at their reception desks: this shows that your level of interest extends to getting off your **** and getting out there.
