hello,

I found a few places that you might like to try out:

A). Bilash Tandoori / Indain restaurant, in Brighton, East Sussex. low priced menu.

B). Mohammed's Tandoori Restuarant in George Street, Brighton, East Sussex. They:

1. They get the order right at least 19 times out of 20 - when they don't they grovel well and sort it out!

2. They deliver! If like us you've got kids and can't always get out, or if you just can't be bothered to go out for food this is a god send - they don't charge extra.

3. (This is the best bit). Every time you have a meal they give you a voucher. Collect 5 vouchers and they give you a free meal for two.

4. Reliable and quietly respected restaurant/takeaway based in Kemptown

C). Akash Tandoorigast, Preston Street, Brightom, East Sussex.

Family run restaurant serving traditional Indian cuisine in a friendly atmosphere.

D). Hove Tandoori, Church Road, Hove, East Sussex.

Home-style cooking in neat restaurant opposite Hove library

E). Ashoka Tandoori Restaurant, a Far Eastern Restuarant, Church Road, Hove, East Sussex, BN3 2BA

Established since 1977 (21 years) quality food and service. Best in Sussex, so it is said.

I am not sure if this is of any help to you, but there are a few restaurants around Brighton, that cater for the asian taste. if non of these are of the type of food you would like, ie. Mithai ( the wonderful tasty indians sweets) then perhaps they can tell you where you can get them from.

Alternately, you can look on the internet, throught google or yahoo, and find names of places or sites which can deliver asian mithai to your door step. Some types can be posted too. They will be able to tell u which types.

Another alternative is to make them yourself. Some asian mithai'slook complicated to make, but they are not. Perhaps a little time consuming but worth every effort. Recipes can be obtained from the internet. i make my own and there is nothing like home-made food and to your own taste. It's amazing hoe many recipes are so easy to make. They can also be stored or frozen for long periods of time and so go along way.

lol, if was there i would make it for you. I learn to make some asian sweet dishes well.

Anyways, good luck with your search.
